Murchisons originated in 1984. In 1992 James Murchison took the opportunity to reinvent the firm into a boutique advisory firm which focused on its core capabilities of delivering, not only good tax and accounting services, but also providing sensible commercial solutions.
Since then the company has grown to provide additional specialist services including:

• Wealth Management and Financial Planning, and
• Risk Management and Due Diligence
Whilst the direction of the business has changed, and will continue to change to meet our clients' needs and expectations, our culture will remain the focus of the business. We will always seek to improve the services we offer.
Our Culture
Our culture is to develop a strong in-depth knowledge of our clients and from that position challenge ourselves to provide innovative solutions that will create opportunities for them.
The firm's staff structure has been developed to be customer focused by the appointment of a Director or Manager and Client Manager to each client. The Client Manager has day to day responsibility to ensure their client's commitments are met on a timely basis. Together with other specialists in the firm they seek to find the best solutions.
Our specific objectives for the 2008 year are:
• Improvement of our in-house workflow management
• Enhance our service offering, particularly in regard to business performance and
superannuation planning
• Continued training of our staff to offer enhanced service to our clients.
